Love every thoughtful detail of the house. Amazing sunsets. We may “need” a kayak after enjoying the gorgeous sound in the peaceful evenings. We go to Corolla for summer “tourist” beaches but Hatteras will continue to be the best place to be “down low” with family. Sincerely, Matt, Angela, Jack and Maya

We very much enjoyed our third April stay at Sunshine. We like the improvements of the new carpet and flooring and maple stairway. All of our guests were very impressed with the house and little baby Niro loved the ceiling fans.
The canal next to the house is such a beautiful place to kayak. We saw great white egret, cormorants, blue heron, osprey, mallards and more. It is so peaceful back there and it is amazing to be able to see a lot of varieties of birds. We had good wind for windsurfing several days, enjoyed trips to the beach and Ocracoke. We played lots of tennis at the Fessenden Rec Center. We will be back same time next year! Gary and Lynda with family and guests

The Cousin’s Week…Westminister MD, Ellicot City MD, Silver Run MD. We all feel very blessed to be together in such an amazing home, with each other, at such a beautiful place. This is where we make our greatest memories together and have been returning for many years to watch the incredible sunsets. They are like no other. Your home is a joy and it makes all of us feel so welcome with it’s history and art work. Thank you for giving all of us a blessed week in such an amazing home. We loved it!

This is our third year in this lovely home. We love it!!! We come from Cape May, NJ and Boynton Beach FL, to spend the week together as one big family. One Mommom and her four children and their spouses and children. Total of nine adults and nine children. The love and laughter that fills the house is immeasurable. Thank you for sharing your home with us and helping to create family memories that will last a life time. Side note: Alex, the one-year old, fell and had his first ambulance ride and five stitches. We have been vacationing on the Outer Banks for years and years and this home is by far the nicest we’ve ever stayed in. You’ve thought of everything. The house is absolutely beautiful form the gorgeous gourmet kitchen to it’s adorable “flip-flop” bedroom/bath to the magnificent windows and views from every angle to the fireplace to the great kid’s “blue” room and loft. We loved it all! Plenty of dishes and silverware, appliances…it just doesn’t get any better than two dishwashers and two washers and dryers. The outdoor showers and bathroom are great!
